The Ann Arbor Hands On Museum is the perfect place to bring the kids. With everything focused on providing a fun and enriching learning experiences this is the place to go. Come learn "Hands On" at the Museum. Kid's can be taught and learn scientific principals through interaction in fun and engaging ways through the exhibits. The exhibits are colorful and fun and very "hands on". There are awesome activities for large and small groups as well as activities for all ages. At the museum there are tons of exhibits:

Concourse is one of the most popular. It has a small water tornado and small jet streams where kids can place plastic balls and see them be levitated and move with the current of the water. It also has a giant set of teeth to show kids how to brush their teeth correctly. There is also a world simulator to explore the Earth we live on.Or explore the All about you exhibit and tour a real ambulance. Dress up as fire fighters and cops and learn more about these professions. Let the kids try the mini go carts and the kid friendly workout equipment. Learn cool and interesting facts about our bodies and how to keep them healthy. 

Visit the Preschool Gallery with the little kids for a fun and relax area designated for the younger toddlers. Here they can dress up like firefighters and play on the mini fire truck. Enjoy a colorful ball run where kids can place colored plastic balls and watch them shoot through tubes. Let the kids play on the splash tables, little tables with a thin sheet of water for kids to splash and play with. Enjoy the Legacy Gallery, learn with simple machines how traffic lights, wheels, the internet, mores code and submarines work. 

Learn all about the wildlife at the Michigan nature exhibit. It has a soundscape where you can hears tons of different animal and nature noises.  An interactive nature wall where you can learn cool facts and play games. It also has native lake fish and geology samples to play and look at. 
See the World around you exhibit where you can play with and learn about magnets. You can also tackle the small climbing wall to let the kids energy out.
